Welcome To North Mankato, MN
Welcome to the City of North Mankato. Our City is part of the Greater Mankato area regional center and home to 13,000 generally friendly residents. We are located just one hour south of Minneapolis/St. Paul, nestled along the bluffs at the bend of the Minnesota River in south-central Minnesota. Close enough to enjoy the metropolitan’s amenities without the big-city traffic and concerns.
While the aforementioned bluffs are renowned for their autumn beauty, North Mankato also features a number of City parks for recreational activities. Among these is Caswell Park, one of the premier softball complexes in the state. This facility has a substantial pedigree of hosting community, state, regional and national tournaments. This complex also features our recently completed Miracle Field for special needs athletes. Caswell Park North will begin development this spring of a multi-field soccer complex to further enhance this regional attraction. Additionally, there are a variety of lakes and county/state parks in and around the North Mankato area, as well as access to the regional trail system.
If you are a visitor, we hope you will enjoy our hospitality and the breadth of opportunities available in the North Mankato area. If you are looking to relocate, please consider our City for your new home. However, if you have questions or concerns beyond the information provided here on our website, please feel free to contact City Hall at (507) 625-4141 or by email.
