Let's think Spring!

Spring Cleanup!

April 8-12 (Valley) & April 15-19 (Hilltop)
Please consult the map for the exact date crews will be at your address to pick-up materials.

The City will be conducting its annual Spring Cleanup on April 8-12 for the Valley and April 15-19 for the Hilltop. This service is for North Mankato residents who pay for refuse collection on their utility billing.  Materials brought in from outside North Mankato may result in loss of this service to the affected residents. If you have questions concerning your collection date, please call 625-4141.

City crews and West Central Sanitation will collect additional refuse and bulky items which are not collected as part of the regular garbage service. There is no additional charge for this service. Because of State regulations, items must be separated before disposal. Your help in separating items will assist City crews in their cleanup efforts. All items such as appliances, rock, and lumber must be separated and placed on the BOULEVARD including those residents with an alley.

APPLIANCE PICKUP
Please put appliances in the front of your house on the Boulevard. Appliances will not be picked up from the alley. Residents will be limited to one each of any appliance per household. Please remove doors from all appliances. Televisions are NOT considered appliances!
Residents with appliances to be picked up must call City Hall beginning March 25, 2019, at 625-4141 to be put on the list.

ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE COLLECTED
• Motor Oil
• Batteries
• Tires
• Hazardous Waste
• Items too large to fit in back of a truck
• Driveway and remodeling materials
• Non-Electric/Gas Refrigerators
• Brush

NOTICE:
