How to use iBistro

Book Return

There is a drive-up Book Drop located across the parking lot from the library, next to the mailboxes and utility bill drop off. All types of materials can be deposited here. Another return slot is located next to the front door.

Checkout

DVDs, videos and music CDs check out for one week while Book Club Bags check out for six weeks. All other materials can be checked out for three weeks.

Computer Printing

Printing from the public computers goes to the printer/copier. The cost is $.25 per page.

Copier

A black and white photocopier is available for patron use at $ .25 per page.

Downloadable Audio/eBooks
             

Fax:

Patrons can send and/or receive faxes at the library. The cost is: Outgoing--$2.00 for the first page, $1.00 for each additional page. Incoming--$1.00 per page. Please notify the library if you plan on recieving a fax.

Fines

The North Mankato Taylor Library has a no fines policy.

Interlibrary Loan

Items that we don’t own can be borrowed from other libraries as requested. We also purchase many items to add to our collection based on patron suggestions.  Interlibrary Loan FAQs.

Library Card

Residents of North Mankato can obtain a free library card by presenting proof of address (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.) and filling out an application. North Mankato residents can also check out materials at other area libraries, but may be asked to fill out another application form.

Password/Pin

Your password for accessing your account on our iBistro online catalog is the first 8 letters of your last name (or your entire last name if less than 8 letters).
