Title: A Dog's Life: The Autobiography of a Stray
Cover
Review: This is a GREAT book!  It is about friendship.  The main character is a stray dog named Squirrel.  She lives with her mother Stream and her brother Bone.  One day Squirrel’s mother leaves and doesn’t come back.  Somebody finds Bone and takes him.  Then some people find Squirrel and keep her, but then they decide that they don’t want her.  Squirrel becomes friends with another stray dog name Moon, but Moon is hit by a truck and dies.  The people who were in the truck decide to keep Squirrel, but at the end of summer they leave her at their vacation home when they go back to the city.  Squirrel wanders around and lives in barns for many years.  When Squirrel is old, an old lady named Susan finds her and invites her inside her house and decides to keep her.  I enjoyed every part of this book, from the nice ladies who feed stray dogs to the mean, hungry dogs in the picnic place.  I think that this book is great for anybody.
