2023 Fall Leaf Collection
City crews are making final rounds around town to complete the 2023 Fall Leaf Collection! The final day trucks will be out will be this Friday, December 1st.
Please remember, leaves may be brought at any time to the Compost Site at 600 Webster Ave. (open daily from 8:00 a.m. until dusk). Help our crews out by raking your leaves onto the boulevard (NOT the gutter), and by bringing pumpkins, grass, brush, twigs, branches, and bagged leaves to the Compost Site.
It’s that time of year! The City is once again offering its fall leaf collection program free of charge for North Mankato residents. City crews will begin collection on Tuesday, October 10th and will continue until leaves are picked up or the weather prevents collection. View the map & schedule below to find when trucks will be in your area. Please note, if you miss your scheduled collection day, but do not want to wait until your next scheduled day, leaves may be brought at any time to the Compost Site at 600 Webster Avenue (open daily from 8:00 a.m. to dusk).
During collection, please do the following:
- Rake your leaves onto the boulevard. (The City will not pick up bagged leaves, they need to be brought to and emptied at the compost site.)
- Bring pumpkins, grass, brush, twigs, and branches to the Compost Site.
- Do NOT rake leaves into the gutter.
- Do NOT put sticks and brush on the boulevard.
- Please do not commingle leaves with brush.
