 FIRE STATION #2 COMMUNITY ROOM |
This Community Room is available for reservations to North Mankato residents for non-profit events, such as family gatherings. This room is available between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. Reservations can be made by stopping at City Hall, 1001 Belgrade Avenue, North Mankato. There is a reservation fee of $25 per event.
This room seats up to 50 people with two 6 foot long tables, twelve 6 foot (narrow width) tables and 60 chairs. Enter the room at the back of the building on the south end. A second entrance is also available on the east end.
You must pick up the key at City Hall prior to your event if using this room outside of regular business hours. The person who picks up the key or makes the reservation is responsible for the room.
A kitchen facility is available to you with approximately 85 place settings of dishes, silverware, a coffee maker, toaster, dish towels, microwave, refrigerator and stove.
Extra tables, chairs, a vacuum, tripod and foam core are available for your use in the storage room at the north end of the room.
Use of alcoholic beverages is limited to one case of beer or a small amount of wine per event. No hard liquor or keg beer is allowed.
A television, VCR and overhead projector with screen are available for your use and must be cleared through City Hall.
